Armas successfully accomplishes IMS DB/DC platform migration for the legacy applications of a major global telecommunications company. Rehosted were 50 million lines of source code and 13 terabytes of data, completely offloading the mainframe.

A large enterprise system for a major telecommunications company consisting of 50 Million lines of source code, was migrated to the Armas IMS rehosting environment. Originally developed to operate on mainframe based IMS systems, the company’s 20 years worth of services business logic was preserved by automatically migrating the legacy IMS COBOL code to operate on mid-range Unix servers in the Armas environment.
